Welcome to Left Coast Seafood Company! Family owned since March of 2002, we specialize in offering awesome food at affordable prices. The owner has been a resident of Nokomis, Florida for over 50 years. His parents had restaurants in the area in the 60’s and 70’s and our Admiral’s Fish Chowder is one of their recipes! We are now in our 3^rd generation of family members as the owner’s daughter now works in the office and up front!

We are a family friendly restaurant with a great kids’ menu and a fish tank for everyone to enjoy.  Children love to watch the seahorses!  We have Happy Hour everyday from 11-6.  Our bar has a great selection of beer & wine, and we make some of the best cocktails on Florida’s Left Coast!  We are a casual restaurant…so come in your beach, bike, or boat attire! We welcome large parties and take reservations for 8 or more. 

Our huge menu has something for everyone……seafood lovers, vegetarian, landlubbers, gluten free, and more.  Be sure to check out our daily specials! We will do our best to accommodate special requests or allergies, as everything on our menu is made to order.  We’re open 7 days a week at 11am and look forward to meeting & serving you. Large Parties and Catering

Having a large party?  Rehearsal Dinner?  Family or class reunion?  How about a business meeting?  Left Coast Seafood Co. has a large room available that seats up to 75 people.  We will do everything we can to accommodate your large group.  We offer buffets or a sit down dinner with a preset menu inclusive of price per person.

Did you have great day fishing the gorgeous Florida waterways?  Bring your cleaned fresh fish to Left Coast Seafood after a day of fishing, and let us do the cooking and the dishes.  Advanced notice is required, so please call before you come so we can provide the very best service.  Your fish can be prepared any way you like and multiple types of fish are welcome.  We will serve your fish family style with two sides, and each person gets a piece of our world famous home made key lime pie!

Giving Back

Venice and the surrounding communities have supported Left Coast Seafood Co. for many years and we do everything possible to give back to the community anytime we can.  Every May, we host our annual canned food drive. Everything that is donated is distributed locally.
We support the YMCA, Salvation Army, Women’s Sertoma, and area schools. We participate in the Venice High School All Class Reunion as well as individual class reunions. We also support an annual local golf tournament that benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Location

We are centrally located, just minutes away from Venice Island and Nokomis Beach, and a short trip south from Sarasota. We are located directly on the Legacy Trail and have safe and secure bike racks.  We are very excited for the opening of the new Legacy Trail pedestrian & bicycle overpass as we are right at the south base! However you get to us, come as you are to cool off and have a bite to eat!
